Minor in Leadership Studies (LDSP)
Leadership Studies is a distinctive, interdisciplinary undergraduate program of courses that is of significant benefit to students in all major areas of study. Personal and ethical development is stressed. Students learn leadership theories and practices necessary to make positive contributions to adaptive social change and the common good in their chosen professions and communities. Interactive and experiential teaching methods including civic engagement are emphasized.
The minor in Leadership Studies consists of a minimum of 18 credit hours with a “B” average (3.0). Students must complete the required courses LDR 2010, Leadership Fundamentals and LDR 4114, Survey of Leadership Readings plus four additional courses from the list of approved elective courses.
