The USFSP Anthropology Club is a student organized and governed club that invites the participation of Anthropology majors and non-majors, who are interested in creating and attending events surrounding the biological, cultural, archaeological, and linguistic studies of humans in the past and the present.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS 2010-2011
Wednesday January 26, 4:45-6pm. COQ 232. Spring Introduction and Organization Meeting.
Wednesday October 13, 4:30 pm in the CAC Core. This is to inform you all that HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH is drawing to a close this October 15th, so in order to celebrate and commemorate Hispanic Heritage, La Casa Hispana and Anthropology Club will be co-sponsoring a celebration of, and workshop on, Afro-Cuban music and dance. This lecture/demonstration/participation will be presented and led by Elena Garcia. We are very lucky to have her with us, as she is a former dancer with Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.
Wednesday, October 6th, at 4:45 in room COQ232. W e will be holding yet another exciting meeting.Come out and retrace the experiences of three of our students field school experiences from this past summer.This is an awesome opportunity to hear the perspectives of your peers as they apply their anthropology backgrounds to real world experiences!As always, refreshments will be served!

Afterwards, join the Anthropology Club for an informational, question and answer workshop on searching for and selecting a graduate school for anthropology.
Several of our Anthropology department's professors will be in attendance and give their experiences and knowledge with graduate programs
