American Bankers Association (ABA)

The American Bankers Association (ABA), which recently merged with America's Community Bankers, is the nation's largest bank trade association. It unites community, regional and money center banks and holding companies, as well as savings associations, trust companies and savings banks under one association that works to enhance the competitiveness of the nation's banking industry. ABA's members -- the majority of which are banks with less than $500 million in assets -- represent 95 percent of the industry's $11.5 trillion in assets and employ nearly 2 million men and women.

Association for Financial Professionals (AFP)
The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) in Bethesda, Maryland, serves more than 14,000 individual members in corporate treasury and financial management. AFP provides professional certification, continuing education, public policy research, development of industry standards, financial tools and publications, training and career development, and representation to legislators and regulators. The Committee on the Investment of Employee Benefit Assets (CIEBA), an AFP affiliate, represents more than 110 plan sponsors who collectively manage approximately $1 trillion in total plan assets.
Financial Planning Association (FPA)

The Financial Planning Association (FPA) connects those who need, support and deliver financial planning. FPA's primary aim is to be the community that fosters the value of financial planning and advances the financial planning profession. FPA's individual members include financial planners, accountants, attorneys, bankers, charitable giving specialists, insurance agents, stockbrokers, money managers, investment consultants, broker-dealer and corporate executives, and others who champion the financial planning process.  FPA institutional membership connects firms that support the financial planning process to the financial planning community.

Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA)

The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the nation’s voice for community banks, represents 5,000 community banks of all sizes and charter types throughout the United States and is dedicated exclusively to representing the interests of the community banking industry and the communities and customers we serve. With nearly 5,000 members, representing more than 18,000 locations nationwide and employing over 268,000 Americans, ICBA members hold more than $908 billion in assets, $726 billion in deposits, and more than $619 billion in loans to consumers, small businesses and the agricultural community.

Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA)
The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) is a national alliance of 300,000 business owners and their employees who offer all types of insurance and financial services products. IIABA is a voluntary federation of state associations and local boards, with affiliates in every state and the District of Columbia. Its independent insurance agents and brokers are politically astute and are involved both locally and nationally. They monitor and affect consumer, insurance agent and broker, and small business issues in Washington through IIABA’s active, professional staff on Capitol Hill.
