Undergraduate Studies
Opening Minds. Expanding Opportunities.

Welcome from the Assistant Dean
Robert B. Thompson, MBA, CAM, MFP

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the College of Business at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, I extend a wholehearted welcome.

USFSP is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission of Colleges as a separate institution within the University of South Florida System. The System maintains a presence in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Lakeland. The College of Business is also separately accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (the premier global accrediting body for business programs).

The College of Business offers undergraduate programs in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Global Business, Information Systems Management, Management and Marketing. For students majoring in Business, minors are available in each of those disciplines and also in Health Care Administration, International Business, and Legal Studies. Students majoring outside of Business may include a minor in Entrepreneurship, General Business, Health Care Administration or Legal Studies.

I believe that you will find the campus is a wonderful place to learn (with an engaged faculty who are part of a major research university), make friends (with small class sizes it feels like a private school - without the private school cost), and experience the cultural and entertainment venues that abound within walking distance of the campus.

Whether you are already our student or a prospective student, I invite you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. If I don't have the information you need, I will find someone who does. I truly want you to have a meaningful, productive and enjoyable experience here at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
