Coming from Tampa or from Bradenton on I-275:
Take the Tropicana Field exit. Follow the interstate signs that say “4th Street South,” and which will direct you to the end of I-175. Once you’ve exited, you’re on 5th Avenue South at its intersection with 4th Street South.
Remain on 5th Ave. South, follow it through the next traffic light, crossing 3rd Street South. Once through the intersection, ease into the right lane and at the light at of 2nd Street South, take a right on to 2nd Street South. (The new dorm will be to your left as you turn right on to 2nd Street South.)

There are parking meters on both sides of 2nd Street South as well as around the corner to your right on 6th Ave. South.
The easiest access to the new parking garage, located directly behind our building, is from 6th Ave. South. Visitor parking permits are required, and can be purchased at the Visitor Center (Cross the street from the Residents' Hall).
Driving Direction to the Neighborhood News Bureau
The Neighborhood News Bureau is located at the James B. Sanderlin Community Center, 2335 22nd Avenue South, St. Petersburg.
It is across the street from Sanderlin Elementary school on 22nd Ave. South at about 23rd Street.
From I-275 Northbound:
Take the 26th Avenue South exit. At the bottom of the exit, take a right on to 26th Ave. South. At the light (intersection of 26th Ave. South and 31st Street South) take a left. Go to the light at 22nd Avenue South. Take a right on to 22nd Avenue South and stay on that till you see the Sanderlin Center on your left.
From I-275 Southbound (from Tampa):
Take the 22nd Avenue South exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp, take a left on to 22nd Avenue South. Go through the light at the intersection of 31st Street South, staying on 22nd Avenue South all the way to the Sanderlin Center on your left.
Take 3rd or 4th Street South all the way to 22nd Avenue South. Take a right on to 22nd Avenue South and follow it all the way (through lights at MLK Street South, 16th Street South and 22nd Street South to Sanderlin, which will be on your right.
