SAISA Men's Singlehanded Regatta Fall 2012
Host: College of Charleston
Finishes: 2nd, 7th, and 10th Place

Write up: At the SAISA qualifiers for the ICSA Men's National Singlehanded Championships, USF professor Dr. Steve Lang (and former coach / mentor of the sailing team) drove 3 Lasers plus 3 USF sailors to Charleston, SC on his birthday weekend. In some intense racing, sophomore Chris Stocke finished 2nd, qualifying for the Nationals in Long Beach, California, losing only to 2012 Olympian Juan Maegli sailing for College of Charleston. USF sailors Bryan White finished 7th, and Paul Perry finished 10th. Thank you Steve, and congratulations Chris.
